While it’s not a replacement for spending time outdoors, NATURE MIX is the best TV-viewing alternative available for parents who are interested in counteracting anti-nature conditioning, and in planting the seeds of ecological awareness and health.

Most “nature” videos feature animals, birds, dolphins – lots of action – but they barely touch on the more fundamental geometry of nature. The non-fractal animal action is a distraction, and like brain candy, is quite attractive, but what’s most essentially natural recedes into the background. On the other hand, NATURE MIX is like a healthy snack for the mind.

NATURE AND FRACTALS

Numerous scientific studies have established that when humans view natural scenery, it produces profound improvements in health – psychologically, emotionally, cognitively, and physiologically – and that these health improvements can be attributed to the fractal geometry which underlies natural scenery. It is our hypothesis that viewing particular fractals may be beneficial for those with Nature Deficit Disorder.
